Biography:
I am a NC licensed massage and bodywork therapist. I attended and graduated
from Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC. I take a holistic approach to massage
and bodywork therapy. I realize that our body and mind are one, therefore, our
thoughts, emotions, and feelings affect our physical body, and vice versa. I view
massage as a healing modality that can be very useful in successfully transforming
habitual patterns of behavior and movement that no longer serve us into ones that
are life-enhancing. I am committed to helping my clients blossom into their highest
potential and greatest good.
Before attending BTI, I received my MS in Textile Chemistry and BS in Chemistry
with a Concentration in Marine Science. Chemistry has allowed me to see that we
are all the same in our most basic levels. We are also composed of the same
materials as nature around us. Having this knowledge allows me to really set
intentions for greatest healing of my clients, so that they can cause healing around
them with people and the environment.
I love to do yoga, walk and play with my dog, Sadie, and travel. I have a wonderful,
supportive family who loves me more and more each day.
