Individual, couples, family and group therapy for adults, children and adolescents
Specializing in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for PTSD,
anxiety, depression, addictions and pain management and personal growth issues
(career, relationships). Expressive therapies including Sandtray, Art and Play
therapy for all ages. Holistic counseling re: Mind/body connection (ie) dreamwork,
relaxation/stress mgt tx, journal therapy. Experience with recovery from eating
disorders, sexual abuse, substance abuse, grief/loss, and related issues.
Philosophy of Practice is client centered, holistic and empathic.
Biography:
Lily Fiorentino holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College,
Cambridge, MA which she receieved in 1990.. She has been providing counseling
services in both private therapy and throughout many respected programs and
agencies including hospitals, residential treatment centers, schools, home based
service. She practiced in New Mexico from 1990 - 2005 and has been practicing in
North Carolina since 2005. She has worked and trained as a professional clinical
counselor, a licensed massage therapist and a registered yoga teacher therefore
she is able to draw on a variety of skills to assist her clients. She has also
supervised other clinicians at a program for abused and neglected children. Lily
enjoys working with all age groups. She is married and the mother of two children.
Insurance:
Ms. Fiorentino accepts some insurance plans including, Blue Cross/Blue Shield,
Cigna, Medicaid, Health Choice, Value Options and horizon Health. She also
accepts insurance out of network when able to. Cash and checks are accepted.
