You have heard about acupuncture and had wondered how it can help you. The Center:
Natural Health Specialists will be hosting a free event entitled "Everything you Wanted to
Know About Acupuncture” on Thursday, November 13, 7:00-8:15 PM. This presentation
will be given by Quinn Takei, Doctor of Oriental Medicine(NM) and Licensed Acupuncturist.
Takei states, “Though acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine in the world, I
know it may seem a little bizarre to many in the West. Acupuncture is very different from
the conventional western medicine we are most familiar. This difference and unique
perspective of health often provides people with solutions to their healthcare problems
when other forms of medicine have not.”
“The purpose of this event is simple. It is to provide you with a basic understanding of how
and why acupuncture works. It is my goal that when you leave, you have enough
information to make an informed decision if acupuncture is right for you.”
This event will include a power-point presentation and time for your questions. It will be
held at The Center: Natural Health Specialists conveniently located in north Raleigh, at
8404 Six Forks Road, Suite 201.

Energy, or the Life Force within us, often called Chi or Qi, is what makes us alive and what
