NOW More Than Ever, Support Immunity with Key Supplements, Vitamin D & Addressing Health Imbalances

The stay at home orders are easing and more people are out and about. At the same time, the COVID-19 infection rate continues to climb.

We are seeing mortality rates of those impacted by this virus are significantly higher for individuals with preexisting health imbalances.

No more than ever, it is essential to make your health a top priority.

Now more than ever it is essential to protect and support your immune system.

The Key Supplements:

In previous articles, I shared the 3 main products I recommend now for everyone to further support their immune system. These 3 key products are as follows:

  • Bio Vegetarian- This is an excellent formulation of natural ingredients that has anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and immune-boosting properties.

  • Vitamin C- This standard is a great immunity enhancer with anti-viral properties. Vitamin C has so many great properties that will be so beneficial at this time.

  • The Ani-Viral Immunity Support Formula (AVIS Formula)- This traditional Chinese herbal is recommended by the government in Wuhan, China to try to prevent the Coronavirus. This formula contains herbs with anti-viral and immune-strengthening properties.

All these products are in high demand and the ability

to receive these products has varied a great deal. For months, I have been hunting for these products and had them back-ordered. Fortunately, at this time, I have all of these items in stock.

Vitamin D

Adequate Vitamin D levels are essential in health. As we learn more about COVID-19, the benefits of Vitamin D are becoming more evident in supporting the immune system to fight this virus. There is more and more research demonstrating that Vitamin D is effective to:

  • Enhance immune function

  • Fight respiratory infections

  • Suppress inflammation

  • Decrease the cytokine storm frequently seen with the COVID-19 infection

  • Decrease mortality rates of those with COVID-19

Here are several research articles on the effects of Vitamin D and COVID-19:

How much Vitamin D do you need? Difficult to say. It depends on your Vitamin D levels. Some people don't need to supplement with Vitamin D at all, while others need mega-doses to raise them out of a Vitamin D deficiency. Deficient Vitamin D is very common. While Vitamin D influences virtually every bodily function, this lab value is often omitted in routine blood chemistry.

At The Center, I have three different types of Vitamin D available- capsules, drops, and an emulsified form. Each has its pros and cons. If you are interested in supplementing with Vitamin D, give me a call so we talk about which Vitamin D will be best for you and how much of it you need to take. You may also connect with us if you desire to have your Vitamin D levels and other inflammatory markers tested.

Address Medical Imbalances

Above all else, now is the time to address any health imbalances. We have seen those most impacted by COVID-19 are individuals with some type of underlying compromised health such as hypertension, autoimmunity, obesity, diabetes, and other ailments. Many of these types of imbalances can be completely eliminated. A holistic approach addresses the roo

t cause of problems and supports you in becoming healthy. Managing health ailments with medications is NOT supporting you in becoming healthy and more balanced, it is only managing and masking the imbalances present.

Again…medications do not make you healthy.

You absolutely have the ability to become healthier and in doing so, you will diminish the adverse impacts COVID-19 may have on your body. I may be biased, but I am quite positive that the most effective way for you to become healthy is through holistic medicine. I have found the combination of Eastern medicine and Functional Medicine offers the most comprehensive approach to health- both diagnostically and with therapeutic treatment options.

I am currently taking new clients and would be honored to partner with you to achieve your healthcare goals. Clients are either being seen in my office or through telemedicine.

It is said that “now” is always the best time to start to care for your health. But no joke, considering the current highly contagious pandemic with significantly higher mortality rates for those with preexisting ailments, NOW really is the time to take exquisite care of you like never before.
